GLOBAL EYE GLASSES: Professional Thieves!
Don't deal with this company and Erica Gonzales, their customer service rep. They made the glasses wrong...then claimed they couldn't do the bifocals as we had requested...and then promised a REFUND. 27 emails, eight weeks, numerous phone calls, and "check is in the mail" promises...but..they have done nothing...other than sending a few apolgetic type (we are checking on it) emails. They are liars and thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT< NOT< SEND or GIVE THEM A CENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT...DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Again, they are thieves, and REFUSE to stand by their product!

GlobalEyeGlasses.com: Worst product and customer service
I ordered 2 pair of glasses from them on March 13th and both of them turned out to be defective. I talked to the customer support and returned one pair to be fixed. I paid the return shipping even though it was not my fault. I talked to customer support again and they said that they have shipped the glasses. I waited for over a month but no glasses. I called them again and they told me that they have not shipped it yet. Extremely poor product and customer service. Stay away from this company. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau as well.

Global eyeglasses - don't keep their promises
Global eyeglasses got my order wrong - they made my computer glasses photochromic while my regular prescription for outside ( that should have got darker in sunlight) was plain. They tried to rectify the mistake but got it wrong again. Finally they said they would send correct lenses that I would have to have fitted. I agreed to this but they called at 6:00am (not very convenient or customer friendly) to renege on that promise. They said to return the glasses for a refund. I had to argue to get them to agree to pay the return postage, which they did and got them to put that in writing, which they did. I sent the glasses back but had to really chase them up three times to finally get the refund. They finally refunded the glasses price in US currency - a lower value than the Canadian currency I had paid with. So I have a reduced refund but no postage refund - they have promised at least 4 times that they are sending the refund, but it never appears. Don't rely on Global eyeglasses to get you order correct or to refund your money if they get it wrong. Globaleyeglasses dont keep their promises.

I just wanted to confirm that GlobalEyeglasses.com finally sent my postage refund to PayPal (see my previous complaint about Globaleyeglasses not keeping their promises). Sure it was in US rather than Canadian funds (so I ended up getting back a little less than I paid due to the exchange rate) but what the hay. Overall I think their glasses are pretty good value and, if there had been no mistake made with the initial order, I think I would have been a satisfied customer. In the end they did refund my money (or most of it) but it was not a good experience having to keep contacting them, getting a satisfactory response and then having them go back on their promise or not fulfilling it without further contact from me. If you are going to give a refund - give it gracefully and quickly so that customers feel like coming back!

Globaleyeglasses - MY BEST CHOICE FOR ONLINE EYEGLASS SHOPPING
I am very reluctant to purchase an eyeglass online before. For a great offer of discounts, a very low price, convenience and hassle free? I am very skeptic especially when they offer this very low prize and besides I like the eyeglass that I can use for long time and will fit me. I did try to go from one websites to another only to find nothing but eyeglasses that I don't think will be good for me though low prices. I phone several optical shops and ask for a price range and verified the very low price offered online, their rebottle is, they can offer low prices as well plus the real fitting of lens that online can't, at least that was what I think before. Until I found globaleyeglasses.com, after browsing the web, searching tweets and blogs, all of my perception changes. The web homepage alone is full of information already. It is a perfect display. All information that a buyer will ask initially is there. Viewing just the home page, you can see that this website is a user friendly and has everything you needed. The set up is very clear and not misleading. Talking first about the web home page, you can see a wide range of choices from types of lens, frames, prices and designer eye wear. Then I decided to purchase the $1.00 eyeglass which directs me to another page where I can choose the best one. Amazingly, each type has its description, from size, width, colors type of lens and the VIRTUAL MIRROR. I pick Kace KA005 with lens, semi rim and I was directed to the virtual mirror where I saw myself wearing the glass. I just download my picture and there, it's the perfect glass for me. Another amazing thing is the prescription info, which is very easy because you just scroll down and follow what was my ophthalmologist prescription and check the lens package I like. You can choose form single vision and choose the lens from tinted to photochromic. For just a total of $50.00 ($1 for frame and $49 for lens) I have already a perfect standard light adjusting transition, semi rim, brown photochromic eyeglasses. You can buy add-ons for lens if you like they have options also, plus a free case. If you have a question, they have a standby live agent who will guide you and the response is very quick. The amazing and exciting online shopping for eyeglasses I did with globaleyeglasses.com takes only less than 15 minutes unless if you will go thru all types of frame, will take you some time. The process from choosing the frame to purchasing the lens and payment takes only 15 minutes. Now, that's what I called a great online shopping. The convenience, detailed information, hand-in options and complete necessary information is there. You don't need to browse from 1 page to another. It's a perfect and most affordable way of purchasing eyeglass online. Thanks Liza Salega

Global Eyeglasses Customer Service Unresponsive
Upon receipt of two pairs of eyeglasses from Globaleyeglasses.com, we had some questions, as the glasses appeared to need some adjustment. We called their customer service number, but found the representative very confused. She was so confused, in fact, that at one point, we found ourselves talking to another customer! Talk about crossed lines. Our email about the problem never received a response. Repeated calls to customer service were useless. We were promised that someone would contact us, but after two weeks, no contact. We raised a dispute on PayPal, but Globaleyeglasses refused the dispute. PayPal only gets involved with delivery issues, so they have not been much help in resolving the problem. Lesson learned. Even if a seller posts a money-back guarantee, you need to get their attention first, before you can even discuss a return or refund. If you can not reach them, well, I guess they think they're off the hook. Originally, we did not think about returning these items, but after the terrible customer service experience. I want nothing to do this this outfit. Buyer beware.

I ordered glasses here and from "coastalcontacts.com" on the same day both with standard shipping. The coastal pair arrived today, 4bus days later, while the global pair status still says "Making Lenses". I am having my doubts about this site...
I ordered from Globaleyeglasses on 4-30 and it is 5-19-11 now. I try to call there customer service and can never reach anyone.
Email and live chat are fruitless too.
Funny thing is in my dispute I filed with Paypal it shows a tracking number ut there is no movement since it was generated on 5-8-11. NEVER AGAIN!!!
I got this ray-ban from here after shopping all over San Diego. It's about half the price compared to getting it at a shopping mall.
Also, I received this ray-ban in about 3 days sent directly from New York to San Diego. I was shocked how fast the service was, and the shipping was free too.
Also, the ray-ban has the tilt that only the legit ray-ban wayfarer has. Totally satisfied.
The day after posting this complaint I finally received my postage refund. It was in US dollars so a little less than I paid due to the current exchange rate with Canadian dollars but what the heck... :)
